We use this information to provide the Snowball service. A subset of this information is stored on Snowball servers and can be removed upon request.
Snowball is an Android service, which means that it’s running and collecting data from the moment it’s first started until it’s uninstalled from your device.
Snowball functions by retrieving notifications from your system notification tray and re-organizing them in the Snowball interface. For this to work we request that you opt into Notification Access (accessible under Settings > Security > Notification access). The product will not function without this permission granted.
Note that you may disable this permission at any time, though Snowball will cease to function.
Our policy does not cover third party services. For Snowball, these services include Hockeyapp and Amplitude. To learn about their practices please visit their policies.
We request the following android permissions for the following reasons:
We take reasonable steps to help protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss and misuse as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Policy, we will change the "Last Updated" date above. After such changes have been published to our website, your continued use of Snowball will constitute your acceptance of such revised policy.
If you are under 18, or the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may only use Snowball with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
